Sri Dwi Wahyuni is a Javanese dancer and choreographer specializing in both traditional and contemporary dance. She is a graduate of ISI, the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, in Yogyakarta.  She also manages performing arts festivals and other events throughout Indonesia.

Rene T. A. Lysloff is a retired ethnomusicologist (University of California, Riverside). He is the author of books and articles related to traditional  and contemporary performing arts of Java. He has also published articles on music, culture, and changing technologies. Finally, he is an active electronic music composer and performer.

Sri Dwi Wahyuni and Rene Lysloff are married and living in Yogyakarta. Together they have produced several dance videos and numerous live performances.
